At La Salle Technical Training Institute, we are committed to maintaining a learning and working environment that reflects our Lasallian values of faith, service, and community. The LTTI Code of Conduct outlines the standards of behaviour expected of all trainees, staff, and visitors within our institution.

These standards are not merely rules — they are a reflection of who we are as a Lasallian community, committed to Touching Hearts, Teaching Minds, and Transforming Lives.

Code of Conduct - LTTI

Core Principles

The LTTI Code of Conduct is grounded in six core principles that guide the behaviour of every member of our community.

Integrity & Honesty

All members of the LTTI community are expected to act with honesty and integrity in all academic and professional matters, including assessments, attendance and reporting.

Respect & Dignity

Every individual at LTTI deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, disability or background.

Academic Responsibility

Trainees are expected to attend classes punctually, complete assignments diligently, and uphold the highest standards of academic honesty.

Safety & Welfare

The safety and welfare of all students and staff is paramount. All members must contribute to maintaining a safe, clean and secure environment.

Lasallian Values

Conduct must reflect the Lasallian spirit of faith, service and community — demonstrating care for others and a commitment to the common good.

Accountability

All members of the community are accountable for their actions. Violations of the Code of Conduct are subject to disciplinary procedures.

Trainee Responsibilities

All registered trainees at LTTI are expected to uphold the following responsibilities.

Expected Behaviour

  • Attend all classes, workshops and practical sessions punctually
  • Dress in accordance with the LTTI dress code and uniform policy
  • Treat fellow trainees, staff and visitors with courtesy and respect
  • Complete all assignments, projects and assessments honestly
  • Take care of LTTI equipment, facilities and property
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents to the relevant authority
  • Participate actively in institutional activities and community service
  • Uphold the good name and reputation of LTTI at all times

Prohibited Conduct

  • Academic dishonesty including plagiarism, cheating or impersonation
  • Harassment, bullying or discrimination of any kind
  • Possession or use of alcohol, drugs or illegal substances on campus
  • Damage to or theft of institutional or personal property
  • Unauthorized use of ICT resources or the institution's network
  • Conduct that disrupts learning or brings the institution into disrepute
  • Unauthorized absence or persistent late coming without valid reason
  • Any form of violence, threats or intimidation on campus

Disciplinary Process

LTTI follows a fair and transparent disciplinary process for all Code of Conduct violations.

Incident Reported

A complaint or incident is reported to the relevant head of department or student affairs office.

Investigation

A fair investigation is conducted, giving all parties an opportunity to present their account of events.

Disciplinary Hearing

If warranted, a disciplinary hearing is convened before the disciplinary committee in accordance with institutional policy.

Decision & Action

A decision is communicated in writing. Sanctions may range from a formal warning to suspension or expulsion depending on severity.
