Our Certificate Programmes

Our Level 5 Certificate programmes provide a strong foundation in ICT and are the ideal starting point for students entering the technology sector. All programmes are nationally accredited by TVETA and recognised by KNQA.

Cyber Security Level 5

Equips learners with the competencies required to become a certified Cyber Security Operator. Covers computer operations, networking, website development, Linux configuration, and security assessment.

Entry Requirements:

KCSE minimum grade D (Plain) or Pass Level 4 of the related course or equivalent qualifications as determined by KNQA

Key Areas of Training:

Computer Operations • Computer Repair & Maintenance • Networking & Database Security • Website Design • Linux • Security Assessment • Cybersecurity Laws & Regulations

Industrial Attachment:

Minimum 480 hours in a Cyber Security firm upon completion of the course.

Programme Information

Intake Periods

January, May and September every year.

Mode of Study

Friday 2:00–5:30 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM–5:30 PM and School Holidays.

Duration

1 year — three terms of 3 months each plus a 3-month industrial attachment.

Certification

Kenya National TVET Certificate in Cyber Security Level 5, issued by TVET CDACC.
