Data Engineer — 2 Year Programme

About This Programme

This course equips a Data Engineer with the competencies required to perform various types of data management and analytics, as well as other duties in the ICT sector. You will master data collection, management, analysis and visualisation for business intelligence and decision making.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

KCSE with a minimum mean grade of C− (Minus) or its equivalent
Craft Certificate Level 5 in ICT or a related course with one year of continuous work experience
Equivalent qualifications as determined by KNQA
As may be guided by the relevant regulatory body

Duration

The course takes 2 years.

Certification

All certifications are issued by TVET CDACC:

Certificate of Competency

Awarded upon demonstrating competence in a core unit.

Kenya National TVET Certificate in Data Management & Analytics L6

Awarded upon demonstrating competence in all units.

Statement of Attainment

May be awarded for competence in certifiable elements.
